Cross Country

Our cross country athletes are flying the flag proudly and it is great to see IBS representation in most of the ANSW and Run NSW events.  Geoff Hynoski is certainly doing well being placed in the Big 10 individual point score, a just reward for a very gusty determined athlete.  Geoff has been joined by Jessica, Ashleigh and Corey Hogg at most of these events.  Jessica herself is coming into her own in the very tough Open Women’s age bracket and has been steadily improving with each event.  The XCC Challenge (incorporating the ANSW State XC Championships) held at the tough course at Cambewarra (Nowra) on the weekend always tests the athletes out, but our members handled the course well and will only benefit from competing against the best cross country runners in the state.
