Sprinters Gianna Mogentale and Lynda Douglas will team up with thrower Mary Thomas and head to Korea this week to take on the best in the world in the World Masters Indoor titles. Very different to the outdoors, Lynda Douglas will tackle her first meet indoors, but Gianna successfully competed in her first indoor title previously in Budapest. Mary’s events will not be much different with the majority of them conducted outdoors but a couple of the throws will be indoors. All athletes will challenge people who have constant indoor competition, but we are confident our masters’ athletes will be among the best in their respective age brackets of Gianna 50-54, Lynda 55-59 and Mary 70-74. We wish them well.
