Having a go in State Relays

State relays are another area that athletes can join their club mates and combine rather than run individually. The club has a number of teams for next weekend and have also combined with the Nowra club to submit some branch teams to give as many athletes as possible the chance to compete.  Australia has a very strong focus on relays when it comes to international representative and many athletes have found themselves in relay teams after missing individual selection. To be held over 2 days, next weekend 24 and 25 November, members are advised to meet in Bay 10 and be at the Homebush ground no later than 1 hr and 30 minutes prior to heat start.  Members are also asked to check the final program to be released by Tuesday to see if any changes have been made. Click here to take you to the ANSW State Relays page to view the final timetable and information.  Go to ANSW home page, scroll to competitions, then onto State relays, final program.  Club uniforms must be worn and association numbers. The program also shows that our sport caters for all people of many disciplines and offers relays in both track and field.
