Fautless Display of Hurdling and Dream Run

The first part of the summer season is drawing to a close and the second part will certainly take off with a bang. What a way to finish 2018 with a brilliant display of hurdling by Grace Adams in the Australian All Schools. Pushing the reigning champion to a PB, Grace also ran a personal best to take the silver medal in a faultless display. She now looks forward to more major meets coming up including Country, State Youth and then hopefully onto the Australian Youth Titles. Team mate Emma Matthews brought home her first National medal when she teamed with her NSW mates to take a well earnt 3rd spot in the women’s 4 x 100 m under 16 relay. Emma ran well and was happy with her individual performance over the 100m to place 10th against a very strong field of junior athletes, but we have just heard that on Saturday in her Zone Little A’s titles, she has run a blistering 12.1 over the 100m. Maintaining this form will see her in a dominate position for Country, State and also the Youth Australian titles.
