State Short Course Titles

Jessica Hogg will now turn her attention to the Athletics New South Wales short course title to be held next weekend.  Hosted by Kembla Joggers, this event will open the winter season for Athletics NSW and it is expected big numbers to line up in all ages.  Having been in isolation and non-competition, athletes will be keen to have their first competition run and it is great to see this event being held on the beautiful Kembla Joggers course at Dapto.  Local clubs have done well in combating the virus and preparing their plans to return to the Sport with Nowra Athletic Club to host the long course cross country titles later on.  The line up in the open men’s and women’s is expected to draw some of the State’s leading cross country/distance athletes and Jessica Hogg knows she will be up against the very best.  Her runs this season indicate that she will have a good run over the course at Dapto, and along with a number of junior athletes from the club, they have prepared well to take on athletes from all over the State vying for the State title.
