The Adams Family

The club’s “Adams family “ have left the cold weather behind and headed to Canada to take part in track and field meets and education program squad touring round Canada.  A great experience for both Grace and Ashlyn as they see what athletes from other parts of the world can and are doing. But the Adams’ girls showed the Canadians what they can do with Grace winning her 100m hurdles and placing 7th in the 200m, whilst younger sister Ashlyn also bought home gold in the 80m hurdles and 12th in the 200m. They also bought home gold in the relay.  What a great start to their tour with the wins in the Jack Brow Invitational meet held in Kelowna BC Canada.

Although these tours are self funded, it is a great experience for athletes to have this opportunity to not only see the country but to compete and see how other athletes train, compete and the type of competition they conduct in Canada for their athletes.
