What a way to welcome in the summer. Blue Stars will open the season with registrations this coming Sunday between 2.00 pm and 4.00 pm for info on our club, registrations, uniforms etc. No events will be held that day due to Relay for Life, but the official rounds will commence the following Sunday at the Kerryn McCann Athletic track on Sunday 23rd September with a time of 2.00 pm with the first events to commence right on 2.30 pm. The club wants to let athletes know that each week will commence right on 2.30 pm so that all events can be conducted each round and every athlete has a chance in each of their events. There will also be some new ideas coming into place for both athletes and officials so watch this space. A welcome sausage sizzle will be held at the first round: $1 sausage sizzle or $2 with a drink, so that you can chat to old and new members around the sausage sizzle after your events.
