Well Balanced Team for Country

IBS Athletes have come good again with a very well balanced and competitive team of just on 50 members who will take part in the coming up Country titles.  Competing at the Campbelltown Athletic Centre, the meet over 3 days, 22, 23 and 24 January will attract some top athletes from all over the country areas of NSW.

IBS has a team of junior athletes who will be making their debut at first time country (U14 athletes), a group of junior athletes who have a mix of experience and youth.   The senior squad which has a blend of an Aussie Champion, State champions and placegetters, followed by the Masters who can boast of State, Australian and World placed athletes.  it is a great combination and combined with families who will take part all together, the Country titles brings our athletes together in a meet that is considered one of the best on the athletic calendar.

Members are encouraged to wear dark and light blue colours with zinc cream, ribbons and join together in the IBS team tents on the hill just as you come into the stadium.

Let’s be Team IBS and not only perform well but perform as a team and support one another.

This story cannot be complete without thanking our technical officials who will spend 3 full days on the track ensuring the meet is run smoothly, efficiently and in the best interests of the sport and its competitors.  We will say a big thank you right now as we realise the time and effort that these titles take out of our officials.  Well done to you all for entering firstly, from our athletes and the officials for giving up their time.

Have a great championship, whether you win, gain a place or do a pb.  The club will be there supporting you all the way.
